About Congress

The Baltic Congress of Radiology is a biennial event that brings together radiology professionals, radiographers, residents and students from the three Baltic States, as well as from around the world.

The Congress is a significant event in the region, as it provides a platform for sharing the latest scientific achievements, exchanging knowledge and experience, and establishing new contacts with colleagues from different countries, as well as meeting with the industry experts.

BCR 2024 Congress

The 2024 Baltic Congress of Radiology will be held in Riga, Latvia, from October 17 to October 19, 2024. The theme of the congress is “Three Shores, One Focus. The Radiology Spectrum of the Baltics.” This theme underscores the unity and shared purpose among the radiology communities situated along the Baltic Sea — representing Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.

Participants will have the opportunity to engage with a full spectrum of topics within the field of radiology and radiography, from cutting-edge diagnostic techniques to innovative therapeutic interventions. Discussions are expected to cover advancements in Ultrasound, MRI, CT, interventional radiology, as well as emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning in imaging.

In addition to the scientific program, the congress will offer various networking events, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among peers. These satellite meetings, workshops, and social gatherings will be integral to the creation of dynamic partnerships and the progression of radiological practices in the Baltics and beyond.

With its rich cultural heritage, Riga will serve as an inspiring backdrop to the congress. Attendees can look forward to exploring the city’s renowned Art Nouveau architecture and picturesque Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, during their stay.
