We are excited to welcome your contributions to the Baltic Congress of Radiology 2024. To ensure a seamless and engaging poster session, please adhere to the following guidelines and requirements for your poster presentations.

Posters should be sent as PDF files to posters@bcr2024.lv by the end of 16th of October.

1. Poster Format and Dimensions

  • Orientation: Landscape
  • Dimensions: Recommended size is A0 Landscape (1189 mm width x 841 mm height) or 16:9 ratio to fit our display screens optimally.
  • File Format: Submit your poster in PDF format to preserve formatting and quality.
  • Resolution: Minimum of 300 dpi to ensure clarity on high-definition screens.

2. Design and Layout

  • Title and Authors:
    • Place the title prominently at the top of the poster.
    • Include the names, affiliations, and contact information of all authors.
  • Sections to Include:
    • Introduction/Background
    • Objectives/Purpose
    • Materials and Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
    • References
    • Acknowledgments (if applicable)
  • Font and Text:
    • Use clear, legible fonts like Arial, Calibri, or Helvetica.
    • Title Font Size: At least 72 pt
    • Section Headings: At least 36 pt
    • Body Text: At least 24 pt
  • Colors and Graphics:
    • Use high-contrast colors for better readability.
    • Ensure all images, graphs, and charts are clear and properly labeled.
    • Avoid overcrowding; use bullet points and numbering for clarity.
  • Congress logo:
    • You may download and add congress logo to poster presentation. See the logo variants below.

3. Content Guidelines

  • Language: All posters must be prepared in English.
  • Ethical Standards:
    • Obtain necessary permissions for patient images or data.
    • Include a statement on ethical approval if applicable.
  • Disclosure: Include any relevant disclosures or conflicts of interest at the bottom of the poster.

4. Submission Instructions

  • Deadline: Submit your poster by 16th of October.
  • Name of the File: Use “LastName_FirstName_PosterTitle.pdf” (e.g., “Arturs_Smits_AdvancesInRadiology.pdf”).
  • Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email upon successful submission.

5. Display and Presentation

  • Digital Showcase: Posters will be displayed on large, high-resolution screens in the exhibition area.
  • Viewing Schedule: Posters will be available for viewing throughout the conference, with dedicated poster session times.
  • Author Attendance: We encourage at least one author to be available during poster sessions to answer questions and engage with attendees, but it is not mandatory.

  • Preview Option: A preview of your poster display will be available upon request before the conference.
